The Tasman is now available in Dual Cab Pick-up, while Dual & Single Cab-Chassis variants will be available soon.

At the heart of the Tasman is a 2.2L turbo diesel engine featuring 154kW of power and 440Nm of torque, paired with a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission..webp)

With up to 1,000kg payload, the Tasman is a proper one-tonne ute.
Towing
With a braked towing capacity of 3,500kg & 350kg tow ball mass rating, the Tasman is up to the task.
Integrated trailer brake controller
The integrated trailer brake control automatically applies the trailer brakes when you brake on the Tasman. Fine-tune the braking force with the positive & negative buttons.
Best in class tub capacity
Fit an immense up to 1,336L (SAE) of cargo in the tub, including an Australian standard pallet.
Low range gearing & rear locking differential
Available low range gearing system & automatic rear electronic locking differential help navigate challenging terrain.
Terrain & X-Trek modes
Terrain modes optimises performance & safety across various conditions such as Snow, Mud, Sand & Rock. Activate the X-Trek mode (low speed cruise control) for driving on especially difficult terrain at low speeds.
Ground View Monitor
Ground View Monitor displays a live virtual view of the terrain in front and below the bonnet, showing potential hazards & obstacles on the infotainment display.
Ladder frame platform
An all-new dedicated ladder frame platform has been developed for the Tasman, offering excellent durability and robustness.
Blind Spot View Monitor (BVM)*
When activating the turn signal, the wide-angle side mirror mounted cameras will display live footage of your blind spots on the 12.3” cluster.
Surround View Monitor (SVM)*
The surround view monitor synthesises images from 4 cameras (front, side mirrors and rear) to provide a 360˚view around the car to make parking in tight spaces a breeze.
Integrated panoramic display
The expansive 12.3"+5"+12.3" combined integrated panoramic display with satellite navigation, DAB digital radio and wireless Android Auto & Apple Carplay compatibility provides helpful driving information.
Remote Smart Park Assist[WA]
The Remote Smart Parking Assist system integrated to your smart key starts the car remotely and allows you to control forward and backward movements of the vehicle. This conveniently allows easier parking or exiting from tight spaces and garages. Underseat storage
The rear seats fold up to reveal a generous best-in-class 45L of space under the seating when empty. The available space is not impacted by 2nd row slide & reclining function.

A handy 6.3L sealed storage area is available inside the rear fender flares for quick access with central locking.

Kia Connect & OTA updates#
Discover intelligent remote control functions including remote start, climate control and numerous innovative in-car services. With Tasman comes Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, conveniently allowing software & map updates directly to your vehicle.
Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)*
Using radar and camera data, the AEB system senses the potential for a collision with a pedestrian, car or cyclist ahead and applies emergency braking to avoid or reduce the effects of a collision. Junction Turning & Crossing[AEB-JC], Lane-change Oncoming[AEB-LCO] & more features available.
Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist (RCCA)*
Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) warns the driver with audio & visual alerts when detecting vehicles approaching from either side of the vehicle when reversing. Rear Cross-traffic Collision Avoidance Assist (RCCA) combines alerts from the RCTA system with braking to help prevent possible collisions.
Trailer Stability Assist*
Trailer Stability Assist (TSA) helps mitigate trailer sway while being towed.
